All who attended the 13th Annual Landings Music Festival had a good time. The Blues Brothers were the headliners, although they had to rely on the Lee County Sheriff’s Department to spring them from jail in order to perform. Riverside’s Perhaps to atone for the stress they had caused by keeping Jake and Elwood in jail, the sheriffs treated the attendees to a free scoop of ice cream.

“Nun” Katherine Thompson attempted, unsuccessfully, to reform the Blues Brothers wild ways.

Cinnamon Cove also performed at the event that drew a large crowd once again. A special tent offering a dedicated bar and food service was added this year. All attendees were able to purchase food and drinks provided by the staff at The Landings.

Tournament organizers were Joe Bavender, Charlie McCoy, Wes Fitz, and Jim Willis.

Primary sponsors for this year’s event were Rossman Realty Group and Sanibel-Captiva Community Bank.
