Village News – TRAWLER

Seasonal Farewell

As the season winds down, we want to wish all our friends and neighbors heading north a safe journey and a wonderful summer. It’s been a great season here in Trawler Village—full of laughter, music, and community spirit. We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall, rested and ready for another season of fun.

Margarita Party Recap

The annual Trawler Village Margarita Party was a great success! Patti and I had a wonderful time and were joined by fellow residents LeRoy and Ann Fleming and Rob and Patty Smith.

Residents enjoyed the entertainment provided by Neil and Cheri.

Entertainment was provided by “Line by Line Productions,” featuring music from Cheri and Neil who have been entertaining groups in Southwest Florida since 1999. The duo inspired many residents to get up and dance.

As always, a big thank you to the Trawler volunteers who helped set up tables and chairs, and to everyone who contributed to the potluck meal. The food and the company were outstanding!

One brave male dancer was happy to join the ladies.

New Car Wash Station

Thanks to the efforts of Perry Maness, a new car washing station is now available between buildings 4585 and 4591. This area is a designated no-parking zone and is available for residents to wash their vehicles. Please remember that vehicle maintenance in the parking lots is limited to tire changes and battery installations only. All other repairs should be handled off-site.

Walkway Reminders

Residents are kindly reminded that items such as golf carts, bicycles, wheelchairs, and similar items should not be left in walkways, especially in the four-story buildings. Bicycles should be stored in racks or inside your unit. All other items should also be kept indoors. Keeping the walkways clear helps ensure safe and unobstructed access for everyone.

Stairway Repairs at 4585 and 4574

Stair tread repairs identified in the Milestone and SIRS Study will begin shortly at buildings 4585 and 4574. At least one stairway will remain accessible at all times during construction. Please do not use any stairway actively under repair.

Summer Paving Ahead

Paving work in the Trawler Village parking lots is expected to take place this summer. If you plan to leave your vehicle behind while away, please make sure a spare key is accessible. If cars need to be moved during paving and no key is available, towing may be required at the owner’s expense.

Guest Registration Reminder

If you’ll have guests staying in your unit while you’re away, please complete a Notice of Guest in Residence form. These are available on the Alliant website.

Website Transition

Please note that Trawler Village updates will soon move entirely to the Alliant portal. The Landings website will no longer be used for Trawler-specific announcements. If you haven’t registered on the Alliant portal, now is a great time to do so. If you need help, contact Luc for assistance.

Next Month

While many neighbors head north, life in Trawler Village doesn’t come to a full stop. Stay tuned for our June edition, where we’ll check in on summer improvements, highlight who’s staying behind, and maybe even spotlight a few year-round faces you’ve never met.
