Hello Landings 9-Holers! Whew, what a busy, fun month we have had. I hope everyone has enjoyed the fun as much as I have. First of all, I would like to thank Pat Tylander and Pam Grusz for checking everyone in for March. What a great way to put names and faces together, especially if you are new to the 9-Hole League.

Several 9-Hole members participated in the Member/Member event in March. We enjoyed a beautiful day and after golf had a delicious Italian feast. Julie Iverson and Peggy Thompson were first, and Deb Hedges and Connie Murphy placed second in Flight 2. Debra Bates and Esther Devos placed second in Flight 1.

We also completed the second week of our Club Championship. The winner for 2025 was Suzanne McGauley. Diane Teeter placed second and Bev Reeves was third. In Flight 2, the winner was Peggy Thompson. Donna Hendricks won Flight 3 and Bonnie Fritch was first in Flight 4. Linda Sharron received the Most Improved Golfer award. Congratulations!

We celebrated all our winners at the Awards Banquet held the next week. The banquet committee members were Pat Tylander, Linda Sharron, Nancy McCracken, JoAnn Kupsch and Debra Bates. A Garden Party was the theme of the banquet and golfers dressed in their bright spring colors.

We played a regular scramble with much-appreciated mulligans and sandies. We met the new director of golf, Mark Wehrman, at a lovely luncheon following the scramble.

The following week we played a Bingo Game which was new to our league. Everyone received a bingo card that had squares to mark off for bingo, such as longest drive, wearing team colors, double bogey, etc. We all agreed it was a fun game and looking forward to playing it again.
