The Landings will proudly host the Lee County Girls High School Invitational for tennis for the fifth consecutive year on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1.
This year, we warmly invite residents from The Landings and neighboring communities to join us as enthusiastic spectators! Imagine the joy and encouragement your presence would bring – just as you would wish for your own grandchildren participating in a spirited competition. In a time when families are often spread across the miles, your cheers and support can make a meaningful difference in boosting these young athletes’ confidence and pride. Let’s come together to celebrate their hard work and passion!
The Invitational will offer individual raffles for those in attendance each day as well as the anticipated themed baskets of “Goodies” (wine, spirits, sports) and experiences from local businesses for dining or recreation. We really appreciate local business sponsorships and want them to be publicly acknowledged to our residents, too.
Please remember to donate gently used tennis clothing and especially RACQUETS that are no longer your favorites to the Racquet Sports Pro Shop for re-stringing and re-gripping. This is the most important equipment that we give to the tennis coaches for the girls! Right now, we are behind in this category for the Share the Love Boutique so please review your older equipment.
